Part of the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre’s (AMRC) network of world-leading research and innovation centres, and backed by Welsh Government, AMRC Cymru is the first High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult centre in Wales.

Our ability to draw on proven R&D talent and the seven-member HVM Catapult, provides immediate strength in depth to support the Welsh Government in its ambition to make North Wales the epicentre of innovation-driven advanced manufacturing.

As a state-of-the-art R&D facility, AMRC Cymru provides a platform accessible to all food and drink packaging manufacturers and for the whole of Wales.
