Keith is Executive Chairman at the Advanced Forming Research Centre (Strathclyde University)
Keith worked in industry before moving to academia in 1980 at the University of Sheffield. He launched the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing in 2001 and in 2009 helped launch the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre.
In 2005 he was awarded an OBE, followed by a CBE in 2011. He became a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2006.
